Welcome to Rapyd’s Summer 2021 Hackathon!

We’re challenging you to rev the global economic engine by building a fintech or payments app using Rapyd’s APIs.

We’re issuing a global challenge to all hackers. Sign up, team up, and take your fintech innovation across the finish line for a chance at a Porsche Taycan, an F1 Experience in Abu Dhabi, and the opportunity to bring your idea to life. Below are the following options for the ways you can participate in this hackathon.

 

Choose your Circuit, Leave Your Competition in the Dust  

Circuit 1:

Create a fintech app (banking, insurtech, securities, finance, payments, blockchain/crypto) while integrating two or more Rapyd platforms (Collect, Disburse, Wallet, Issuing). Watch the video

Circuit 2:

Create the ultimate customer checkout experience on top of the Rapyd Collect platform. Make checkout faster, easier, or more rewarding online, in-store, and everywhere. Watch the video

Circuit 3:

Create the World's Next Global Super App with payments including Rapyd APIs that will compete with the likes of WeChat, PayPal, and Grab. Watch the video

Requirements

What to build: A fintech or payments application using the Rapyd Payment Platform.

What to submit: 

  • Provide a URL to your code repository for judging and testing

  • Include a video (about 3 minutes) that demonstrates your submission. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video and made public

  • Must include a link to their project working

    • If you can not include a link to your working project, you must be able to prove your work, provide end-to-end proof with a screen recording of localhost or some other solution

• 2021 Porsche Taycan 4S or $125,000 cash
• F1 Experience (up to 4 people) OR $10,000
