DocuSign is committed to helping the world’s businesses take their core processes digital. Help us bring the power of DocuSign’s suite of applications, APIs, and integrations for automating and connecting the entire agreement process to non-profits.

Through our DocuSign for Forests initiative, DocuSign is also committed to protecting the world’s forests. We believe that code that supports organizations doing critical work to preserve the world's forests or other missions crucial to humanity is Good Code.

Two Ways to Win

You can help our partner, the Jane Goodall Institute, or a worthy non-profit of your choice use DocuSign’s APIs to take their e-signature and other processes digital. We invite you to use the DocuSign eSignature and other APIs to build a web or mobile application to:

  • Map and approve geospatial data for conserving chimpanzee habitat for the Jane Goodall Institute (see Resources tab for challenge details)

OR

  • Build an innovative web or mobile application that automates and connects agreement/e-signature processes for a non-profit of your choice (Greater Good Challenge).

Requirements

Submit the following assets:

  1. A 3-minute demo video (hosted on YouTube, Facebook Video, Vimeo, or Youku). Your video should include a demo of your working application via a step-by-step visual demo.
  2. A way to access your working application for judging and testing by providing a URL to the publicly visible code repository, including an applicable open source license. https://opensource.org/licenses
  3. Please include a link to a GitHub repository containing your project. You must clearly disclose which code you wrote yourself within the timeframe of the hackathon and let the judges know about any libraries or APIs you used.
