Customers now have tens of millions of Alexa-enabled devices with screens. And they want more voice-first, multimedia experiences that are immersive, entertaining, and engaging. Join us to invent the next generation of Alexa experiences that go beyond voice.

The Alexa Skills Challenge: Beyond Voice is an opportunity for developers to create immersive Alexa skills that combine voice with rich sound, visuals, touch and motion. You can mix audio tracks at runtime with APL for Audio (beta), add visuals and touch to your skills with APL, and now even motion-enable your skills with new motion and sensing APIs. You can also leverage web technologies such as HTML5 for voice games with the Alexa Web API for Games.

With these developer features, you can build Alexa skills for a wide range of screen devices such as the Echo Show, Fire TV and tablets, and third party products with Alexa built-in such as Samsung TVs, LG TVs, Lenovo Tablets with Alexa Dock, and Portal from Facebook.
